Reality And a Dream

In a matter of time everything changes and that is when the objective of being prepared becomes so real to you that if you weren't you prayed to God somehow you get there to sustain the pressure, pain, agony and most of all the loss. Then with the same heart, with the same soul you believe and hope in the attainment of that which is greater than anything you ever had or ever dreamed of.

Standing With Integrity In A World of Compromise

Today we find that many people compromise their faith in order to be accepted of the majority. As a Christian, there is nothing more important than standing firm on the foundation of our faith! This foundation is the Word of God and if we stand on it, then we are "standing with integrity in a world of compromise." This choice to stand on your foundation shows who you are out to please - God or man?

Doing A New Thing

Now a days, we have young people who are getting bored with church. They want something new and overall that's good. God even understands that. He said "Behold, I will do a new thing..."(Isaiah 3:19) He's not against change; yet, we have to be careful. As we do things that the Church hasn't seen, we must  remain in check. There are certain things that we just cannot do as we break the bonds of tradition. Traditions are binding, yet the old ways are good! Following the guidelines in the Bible is very important because even though God allows us to worship Him through new things, like gospel rap or dance, we have to remain true to what we have learned. For example, Christian artists cursing in their songs is not attractive to nonbelievers. We have to remember that we worship a Holy God, who accepts us, yet we must reverence Him and represent Him well through whatever we choose to glorify Him!

God's Manifested Ability In You

One of the things I admire about God is that, He challenges you in order to bring out the ability He has planted in you before you were even born. We often wonder why we must face some of the struggles we do in life. We ask "Why Lord? Why me?" Yet, God has the ability to use your struggles to mature you. The sign that God has used your struggles to mature you is when, the same things don't bother you as they use too. When you can breeze through your old hardships is truly the glory of God! All throughout life, if you have an outlook that "God wants me to grow, therefore I must go through the fire," then hardships wouldn't bring you despair but hope and joy!
~My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. (James 1:2-3 KJV)

Why America Has Fallen

Many people would ignore the fact that America isn't what it used to be. Yet, many wouldn't deny that we once lived in a very dominant Christian nation. Founded on the principles and justice-like wisdom of God, the United States grew to become a power to be reckoned with. Now in the 21st century, we face economical crises, natural disasters and most of all a spiritual disaster.
Anyone wonder why we are in all these disasters? Well, in the Bible it says that, "Righteousness exalts a nation; But sin is a disgrace to any people."(Proverbs 14:34) Our once righteous (morally speaking) nation has become defiled by homosexuality, idolatry and false hope. We had Americans who wholeheartedly trusted in our economy; then what happened? It failed. We had those who brought over their own religions from other nations. And what happened? It has produced a national spiritual confusion. We have leaders legalizing gay unions and the end of that surely is going to be an ultimate defiling in our nation.
People can't deny the things that are facts. The God fearing nation that once was, isn't the nation that now is.
President Barack Obama claims that America is still the greatest nation on earth. But I ask, from what perspective?

Limited: Your Strength- Unlimited: God's ability

"...Be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might." (Ephesians 6:10)
A lot of times we are tempted to rely on our own strength when facing struggles; yet our ability goes but so far. Overwhelmed by life's circumstances, peer pressure and even by others; we must be strong in the Lord. We must have confidence that He is able to do for us that which we cannot do for ourselves.
So again remember to be "strong in the Lord and in the power of His might."

Respecting Tradition

"This is what the LORD says: "Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls." (Jeremiah 6:16)
A lot of young people today (including myself) have become tired of tradition. We want the "new" thing and the "new" way. However, despite certain imperfections; there is nothing wrong with the old way. Meditating in the Word of God and prayer still works when it come to being courageous in life. So, before we try the new way, let us consider the old way and experience the prosperity and rest of those who walked in them.
~Tradition isn't bad, if it is traditionally seeking God through Prayer and Meditation~
