Now a days, we have young people who are getting bored with church. They want something new and overall that's good. God even understands that. He said "Behold, I will do a new thing..."(Isaiah 3:19) He's not against change; yet, we have to be careful. As we do things that the Church hasn't seen, we must remain in check. There are certain things that we just cannot do as we break the bonds of tradition. Traditions are binding, yet the old ways are good! Following the guidelines in the Bible is very important because even though God allows us to worship Him through new things, like gospel rap or dance, we have to remain true to what we have learned. For example, Christian artists cursing in their songs is not attractive to nonbelievers. We have to remember that we worship a Holy God, who accepts us, yet we must reverence Him and represent Him well through whatever we choose to glorify Him!

God's Manifested Ability In You
One of the things I admire about God is that, He challenges you in order to bring out the ability He has planted in you before you were even born. We often wonder why we must face some of the struggles we do in life. We ask "Why Lord? Why me?" Yet, God has the ability to use your struggles to mature you. The sign that God has used your struggles to mature you is when, the same things don't bother you as they use too. When you can breeze through your old hardships is truly the glory of God! All throughout life, if you have an outlook that "God wants me to grow, therefore I must go through the fire," then hardships wouldn't bring you despair but hope and joy!
~My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. (James 1:2-3 KJV)

Why America Has Fallen
Many people would ignore the fact that America isn't what it used to be. Yet, many wouldn't deny that we once lived in a very dominant Christian nation. Founded on the principles and justice-like wisdom of God, the United States grew to become a power to be reckoned with. Now in the 21st century, we face economical crises, natural disasters and most of all a spiritual disaster.
Anyone wonder why we are in all these disasters? Well, in the Bible it says that, "Righteousness exalts a nation; But sin is a disgrace to any people."(Proverbs 14:34) Our once righteous (morally speaking) nation has become defiled by homosexuality, idolatry and false hope. We had Americans who wholeheartedly trusted in our economy; then what happened? It failed. We had those who brought over their own religions from other nations. And what happened? It has produced a national spiritual confusion. We have leaders legalizing gay unions and the end of that surely is going to be an ultimate defiling in our nation.
People can't deny the things that are facts. The God fearing nation that once was, isn't the nation that now is.
President Barack Obama claims that America is still the greatest nation on earth. But I ask, from what perspective?

Limited: Your Strength- Unlimited: God's ability
"...Be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might." (Ephesians 6:10)
A lot of times we are tempted to rely on our own strength when facing struggles; yet our ability goes but so far. Overwhelmed by life's circumstances, peer pressure and even by others; we must be strong in the Lord. We must have confidence that He is able to do for us that which we cannot do for ourselves.
So again remember to be "strong in the Lord and in the power of His might."

Respecting Tradition
"This is what the LORD says: "Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls." (Jeremiah 6:16)
A lot of young people today (including myself) have become tired of tradition. We want the "new" thing and the "new" way. However, despite certain imperfections; there is nothing wrong with the old way. Meditating in the Word of God and prayer still works when it come to being courageous in life. So, before we try the new way, let us consider the old way and experience the prosperity and rest of those who walked in them.
~Tradition isn't bad, if it is traditionally seeking God through Prayer and Meditation~

Faith Takes Patience
Recently I've received a job opportunity that I thought would never come. For a while I've been looking for a job; yet, the more applications I filled out, I still didn't get a reply. When my guidance counselor told me about this job I went down to the Career Center and applied. In the process of finally submitting the application, I remembered that I forgot my proof of address, then I had to leave and get my working papers signed. Now to me this was a test to see how bad I wanted what I'd prayed for; so I'm glad I did what I had to do and now I have the job!

Livin'
A lot of people get "living life to the fullest" mixed up with sex, drugs and parting. The reality is that these things keep you captive to them. The Scripture says that "what you yield yourself to is what you are a slave to." (Romans 6:16). "Living life to the fullest" is living above the standard. To better yourself and those around you is what livin' is all about!
There's no feeling like "living the life"
however,what life are you living?

The Foundation That Cannot Be Shaken!
So many disasters are goin on around the world today that everything seems to be shaken. Yet theres a foundation whereby you will be able to stand during these troubled times. As you put your faith in Jesus Christ, there is nothing that should shake you. Jesus said "he that listens to the words [and advice] that he gives, is like a wise man that built his house on a rock."(Matthew 7:24,25) When the winds and storms came the house still stood. So like a wise man, put your faith in Jesus and take Him at His Word because it is a sure foundation!

Christianity: The Relationship
One thing I've noticed about people is that they reject religion. They reject Christianity as another religion; and fail to see that Christianity is not at all about being religious. It is about knowing the true God. When Jesus walked the earth, he never enforced religion. He actually hated religion because it kept God's people blind. They were so busy trying to be self-righteous, that they failed to see the most righteous man (Jesus) to ever live was right in front of them.
Today, we have the same problem. People are trying to be self-righteous, yet they fail and give the Church a bad name. For me, however, I am determined to enforce Christianity as a relationship. A fellowship with God and the Lord Jesus Christ, whereby we can live life to the fullest and be victorious over all circumstances.

How to Lead
Whether you follow tradition or set a new path, I encouage all my readers to become leaders at all that they do. Now, being a leader doesn't always mean being the head of the group, or first in a race; but I encourage everyone to lead by standing up and being different and thereby leading their own way for others to follow.

Standing with Boldness
When you feel like giving up, STAND STRONG! When you feel like throwing in the towel, LET THE DEVIL KNOW WHO'S SIDE YOU'RE ON!
Have faith to face your future with confidence! God is not going to let you fall!
Believe and walk by faith: When you don't doubt God, but believe Him in all circumstances, He will do things YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN
When you walk with a pimp in your step because you got faith in Jesus, God will do the IMPOSSIBLE in your life!
The Bible says, "In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him."- Ephesians 3:12
Remember: God reacts to faith! Stand with Boldness!

The Matter Of Fear
Whether we fear people, circumstances, or our future, we must look to God to keep us. We live in an uncertain world, but God certainly holds on to His promises.
Trust in Him because "He has not given us the spirit of fear..."(2Tim.1:7) We have been given power, love and a sound(sure) mind during these hard times.

Getting Ready to Soar
I have noticed something very astonishing! There is a need for people to be fulfilled; however, I find this need to be greater for the unexperienced, young person. As we grow, I notice that we have a thirst to live life to a greater extent. We are in the height of our days, but are struggling to soar.
When I think about how hard we try, I also have found that: to soar we must first learn how to set -how to set ourselves up for greatness and how be ready when the winds come.
Now, the way to do this is by; taking time to discipline ourselves and growing in areas where we are weak. This will make sure our flight would not be determined by our circumstances; because we have been strengthened for the trials and troubles that come our way.
~Now personally I find the Word of God- the Holy Bible, to be the greatest teacher in how to grow, so I advise you to study the Word and experience life changing results.~

WARNING! THIS IS A STATE OF EMERGENCY!
There's no doubt that there are a lot of disasters going on; earthquakes, tsunamis and tornadoes - things are just getting worse.
Now I don't know where you may be in this world, nor your situation, but I have noticed this urgency to get people saved! People are caught up in the circumstance, but failure to see God's hand at work is vital. God said "Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens."(Hebrews 12:26) Yet, there is still hope for you today!
God is not trying to kill us or terminate the world, there is a hope in this time of disater and that hope is in Jesus Christ. When God said, He will once again shake the earth and the heavens, He also indicated that the things of which he speak are created things. The only thing the Word of God says will remain, are the things which cannot be shaken- meaning the kingdom of God.
Therefore it is vital for the unsaved to turn and put their faith in Jesus Christ. When it comes down, the kingdom of God(the only true God) will be the only thing that stands!
~Your faith in Jesus Christ makes you a part of the kingdom of God and God has promised YOU WILL STAND!

A Promise To Come
When God first told Abram to leave his home and go to a land he didn't know, God also made him a promise. God promised him several things, among which He says " I will bless thee..."(Gen.12:3)
Throughout Abram's story, God continually reminded Abram that He was going to bless Him; even though Abram may have not always seen it, he ventured on by faith.
When we feel sometimes that God has forgotten to bless us, we have to remember the story of Abraham, the father of nations. We have to venture on by faith and watch to see how God is going to show up and show out in our lives!

Being Pre-ordained
Noah was pre-ordained by God to do great things. In Genesis 5:29, Noah's father said " This same [Noah] shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed."
See, because man's sinful ways, God cursed the earth and it grew spikes unto men. However, God had a pre-ordained plan for Noah. God used Noah to save the righteous of the earth (through Noah's Ark); and when Noah offered an offering unto the LORD, God said in His heart "I will not again curse the ground anymore for man's sake..."(Gen. 8:21)
~Just like Noah, God has a pre-ordained plan for your life; Seek Him today and He will surely reveal it to you.

Acceptance of the Gospel
A lot of people find it hard to accept the truth of the Gospel because they don't see how a loving God can exist when there is so much hate and violence in the world. However, the thing that brings acceptance of the Gospel is usually trial. When pressed in on every side, people then seek God and when He delivers them, they then find faith in Him. Yet Jesus said, "blessed are those who believe and have not seen." The truth of the Gospel is faith in Jesus Christ as your Savior- the One who died for your sins and imperfections. Yet with sight there's no faith and with such faithlessness God is not pleased. Trust Jesus as your Savior today. I know it might be hard to believe, but Jesus said a little faith can go a long way, step out and try Jesus!

My Gospel Poem
To save a life, a life was given. To give life, a sacrifice was made. To change the world, he did what needed to be done. To show his love this was what he chose to do.
The pain and agony; -takes so much to be crucified.
The pain and agony; -takes so much to be crucified.
No ordinary death can anyone say He died. Three nails and a sword pierced his side. "Father, Father" this then he cried.
Forsaken by God for the sins He bore. Yet, he still did it, he opened the door.
The veil was torn, and God made a way. Three days later he rose from the grave.
Ascended to Heaven for our sake. To speak on our behalf and intercede as we pray.
Love like this I've never seen. An arm outstretched to our greatest need.
Living without life is truly a sad deed. But he gave us life and it more abundantly.
Faith in him is all God requires.
Ascended to Heaven for our sake. To speak on our behalf and intercede as we pray.
Love like this I've never seen. An arm outstretched to our greatest need.
Living without life is truly a sad deed. But he gave us life and it more abundantly.
Faith in him is all God requires.
For He accepted the payment of him that is much higher.
"Jesus, Son of God" this sings the choir,
but let your heart sing songs of praise because Jesus Christ reigns!

Being Faithful To God
I was reading about Daniel in the Bible and I noticed how Daniel "continually served God."(Dan.6:16) Daniel was faced with death because if he didn't serve the king, he would be thrown into the lions' den. "Now when Daniel knew... he went into his house; and his windows being opened in his bedroom, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed to God, as he did before."(Dan.6:10)
Daniel was not afraid of his circumstance or the consequence of serving his God. He stayed faithful and reaped the reward. When he got thrown in the lions' den, God delivered him, because he believed in the Lord his God.
~Let's be strong and courageous as Daniel, continually putting our faith in God.~

Life And Fulfillment
The Lord has opened my eyes to see one of the greatest needs of mankind. We all want to live life to the fullest and that is what causes us to get caught up in so many things. However, like Paul said "not all things are beneficial."(1 Corinth. 10:23) Living life to the fullest is not having non stop sex, or partying day-in and day-out, it's about humbling yourself to put God first and others before self. When you become self-less, you become fulfilled in the things of the heart and that is love and compassion.

The Importance Of The Will Of God
How many of us know that, It is hard doing anything without an action plan? An action plan is a written vision or goal that we work to meet. Therefore, without an action plan, we are driven about day to day by whatever comes our way. To stop this vain, repetitive cycle, it is vital that we all know what the Will of God is for our lives.
God said, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you..."-Jeremiah 1:5 God already has a will and plan for your life. All you have to do is use the resources He has given you to know it. Through prayer and reading God's Word, you will be able to discern what God's will is for your life.

Don't Be Decieved!
As we live in this world, we are sometimes deceived by the worldly idea that God is not watching and taking account of all that we do. The Bible says, that"The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good."-Prov. 15:3
So as we live our lives, we should take careful thought on what we do and the decisions we make, because someday we will have to give account to God.
Now do you wanna be remembered for doing evil or good?

I'VE GOT THE VICTORY!
I was listening to Pastor Edward Thompson one Sunday and he preached on how "The Fight Is Fixed". Now that message really ministered to me because I realized that day, that no matter what the situation/war may look like now, God has a way to turn things around in the twinkling of an eye!
The Bible says that " all things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose." (Rom. 8:28) So don't afraid to step out on the battle field, nor afraid to fail. In the end, YOU'LL HAVE THE VICTORY!

Running From The Fire!
Living in a world blinded by sexual lust, it's hard to live pure and holy to God. We are tempted and sometimes pressed in on every side, but even when it gets hot, you have to learn to be like Joseph and run. The Word of God says that "she caught him by his garment, saying, Lie with me: and he left his garment in her hand, and fled, and got him out."- Genesis 39:12
Resisting temptation isn't always easy, but trust God to give you the strength to resist it and live victorious!

Key To Ongoing Success
In the past year, God has placed me in a few important positions. He has taken me from student to Student Body president, and from average to Gold Star (Student Leader.) However, one thing that we have to remember when we are given success, is to always give God the glory. I was watching Revd. Jesse Duplantis, a few nights ago, and one thing he said was, to "Never get toxicated by success"
As God raise us up, we have to remember that, It is God that places us and exalts us to high positions, so we are to humbly give Him all glory.

As we enter a New Year, we have to renew and recapture a Vision to fulfill. In the past year, you might have fallen short of your desired goals, but this year, make the decision to recapture vision and work harder.

So make your mind up, you must have Vision to succeed!
